This Year’s Sanatorium Holidays

Although it’s not possible to send volunteers to Belarus at the moment, we have still been able to fund several holidays in Belarus this year. In the summer, siblings of childrenin the care of the Children’s Hospice had a wonderful, carefree holiday in the countryside. And children in remission from cancer enjoyed a great time at Nadezhda Children’s Centre.

In September we arranged a holiday at Ptich Sanatorium for the young people who live in our Family Home, Rodni Kut; Greesha and Ira who recently had to move from our other Family Home at Klimovka, plus other young people from Kapatkevichi, their new home; and Ira and her mum (you may remember Ira from our book ‘Living with Chernobyl’)
