In Loving Memory of Nazar

For twenty years Nazar lived happily at Rodni Kut with his Papa Sergei, his ‘mamas’ and his adopted siblings Anya, Stas and Anton. Sadly in July Nazar has passed away and his family in Belarus and all who love him here are devastated to lose him. We will always remember his happy smile and his sense of humour; the way he remembered everyone he had ever met through their voice (he had very little vision) his care and empathy for everyone, from his immediate family to the neighbour’s sister’s boyfriend’s cat! Thank you to everyone who has helped to fund Rodni Kut over the years to give Nazar and Anya, Anton and Stas a happy home. And thank you to Sergei and all the mamas for always being there for him when he needed you.

Nazar came to the UK every Christmas as he grew up from the age of 8 just before he moved into Rodni Kut. He stayed with Linda Walker and family, had many adventures and loved to go to visit ‘MagseeKen’ and enjoy some music. Swimming at Seashell school was always a highlight. He came back when Helena and Mike were married, to meet their first daughter Molly and then came again to celebrate his 24th birthday. Happy memories for everyone who met him.
