Holiday at Nadezhda Children’s Centre

We are not able to bring children to the UK for holidays but we have been able to fund a holiday in Belarus for children in remission from cancer. The holiday was organised by Children in Trouble, the cancer charity we have worked with for the last twenty five years. The Children’s Rehabilitation and Recreation Centre Nadezhda is situatedin a beautiful forest near a lake some 80 km north of Minsk, and has a very low level of background radiation. The children had a wet first week for their holiday but there are lots of art, craft, games and sports activities they can take part in under cover, and the sun came out for the second week of their holidays.

Over the years we have brought hundreds of children and teenagers in remission from cancer for holidays with our groups in the UK and you can see a few pictures of them below.
