Thank-you Mags and Ken!

Mags and Ken Whiting have been central to the activities of Chernobyl Children’s Project ever since we launched in early 1995. They drove ambulances out to Belarus with Irish convoys; then led our own convoys for several years, whilst organising our aid collection and planning the distribution of goods in Belarus; they co-ordinated the Glossop group for twenty years; hosted countlessmothers and children, plus interpreters and doctors; and they played a key role in the management of the charity throughout the whole period. They are now taking a step back from active involvement but we have awarded them the titles of ‘Honorary Lifetime Trustees’
