Support a young person in the care of an institution

We have worked for many years at Zhuravichi Boarding Home, which is situated deep in the countryside in the north of Gomel Region.

It used to be a home for children with disabilities, but now all its residents are young adults.

Every summer, for many years, we have funded as many young people as we can to go on holiday, and we send out volunteers both to the Holiday Camp and to the institution itself. But it is not possible to do this at the moment.

To improve the day to day lives of some of the young people we fund an extra part time carer/ teacher who helps young people to take part in activities and receive extra care.

And from time to time we buy craft materials and other supplies the home is short of.

Could you sponsor Inna’s salary for a week?  £25.  Or for a month? £100

We very much hope that in the future we will be seeking funding for holidays again, and sending out volunteers, to make sure the young people have an unforgettable time.

 

 

Whether it’s providing recuperative holidays in the UK for poorly Belarussian children, sending young adults living in institutions to holiday camps in clean parts of Belarus, maintaining 24 hour care for our family in Rodni Kut or, indeed, providing any of our other vital services,we need your help and we need it now! Without the financial support offered by our kind and generous donors we simply would not be able to carry on.
