CHERNOBYL CHILDREN'S PROJECT (UK)

The Rugby Group hosts 8 teenage girls each year.  They stay with one host family for two weeks before moving on to a second family for two weeks.  We have a team consisting of host and support families and all are invited to our monthly meetings where we mainly discuss fund raising ideas, which are many and varied.

While the girls are with us we all meet up most days to entertain our visitors with parties and outings.  Families from both fortnights help and support each other as much as possible and often meet up on days not timetabled for activities.
