CHERNOBYL CHILDREN'S PROJECT (UK)

Merseyside group host children every summer and everyone has a fantastic time, as you can see in this lovely letter from the interpreter who travelled with the group:

Dear friends at CCP,

All the children are at home with their parents now. Thank you for the given opportunity of spending this holiday in the UK. We all enjoyed every minute of staying there. All the children were happy and treated in the best way. We all want to thank you and The Merseyside Group participants and especially its coordinator Marion Stoddart for a wonderful and well-organized holiday.

The 1st week we lived all together in Llansannan, in the scout-camp where were organized inside and outside games and entertainments.  We also felt support of local people, who helped a lot and made our stay there highly enjoyable .The program of activities was very interesting, perfectly planned and organized. We then stayed in Liverpool with families with very kind hearts. Especially amazing was the trip to London. All the children enjoyed their stay in host families. All the time we felt  wonderful treatment and care of all the participants of The Merseyside Group.

We will be very happy to come again to The Merseyside Group next year. We would like to say thank you to you and :Marion Stoddart, Philip Stoddart, Kevin  Edwards ,Ken Kendrick, Mike Duffy,Vicki Hall,Alan Hall,Sally Hall, Mary Mullholland , to all participants of The Merseyside Group , host families, and  people who helped. Belarusian Centre for  Pediatric Oncology and Hematology  says thank you for the Colomycin.
