CHERNOBYL CHILDREN'S PROJECT (UK)

Group day out - A trip to the seaside.

Our group in Blantyre has been going since 1996 and we joined CCP in 1998. Since then we have brought a variety of groups to Scotland every two years for recuperative holidays, sent some local young people over to work in the holiday camps in Belarus, collected and despatched several lorry loads of humanitarian aid and fundraised on an ongoing basis.

We regularly hold ceilidhs, dances, pub quizes, bag packs and sponsored cycles and walks. We are supported by many local organisations such as schools, pubs, churches, Rotary and Round Table. If you would like to join us in any capacity, hosting young people or fundraising please do get in touch.
