Kinder Challenge

Are you up for a challenge? Glossop and New Mills Group is organising a sponsored Kinder Challenge this April! Keep fit while having loads of fun,a great day out and raising money to pay for a much needed recuperative holiday in the Peaks for a Belarussian child in remission from cancer.

To make Sponsorship easier for you, we have set up Team sponsorship pages for you to share with friends – though you are welcome to make your own, or we will personalize one for you. Here they are below:

The 2 mile ‘Easy’ guided route on Sunday 28th April will be from Hayfield Village to Bowden Bridge and will take about an hour – follow this link

For those wanting a moderate challenge, we have a lovely guided walk from Hayfield Village to Kinder Reservoir and back on Sunday 28th April. This will be 4.5 miles and will take 2-3 hours – follow this link

Fancy a bigger challenge? The strenuous guided route will take you to the top of Kinder – but you do need a good level of fitness for this. The walk is 8.5 miles and will take 5-6 hours, on Sunday 28th April – follow this link

And, during the same weekend, kids are invited to “Spring Up Kinder” – a sponsored 1 mile family adventure up to Twenty Trees. The adventure will include an egg hunt, egg rolling, crafts and hide and seek. Bring a picnic—teddy bears welcome too!

So why not make a weekend of it and have some proper fun and fresh air in one of the Peak District’s most beautiful locations.

Joining in with this event just got easier! We have also made a Team sponsorship page which you can share with your friends. Alternatively, you can make your own or we will happily personalize one for you.
