SUMMER VISIT 2007

This summer the Rugby group hosted eight young ladies, the youngest being twins of 17 and the eldest celebrated her 24th birthday while she was with us.

They were a very mixed group including one girl from Rogachev with special needs, and one of the twins a girl with cerebral palsy.
 
We enjoyed several outings together despite the wet weather start, amongst them two beautiful sunny days on the beach.  Other outings included sailing, canoeing, a flight in a light aircraft, and an art work shop where the girls all worked together on a åround the worldπ mural .

This year for the first time we tried an overnight stay in a scout camp, enjoying spaghetti bolognaise round  the camp fie. It went well, and next year we hope to make it a two night stay earlier in the holiday as we hope it will make the perfect icebreaker.

A good time was had by all, and we already have ideas and offers of outings for next year.
