Above is Cat, host parent in the Endon and Stoke Group, with Ilya and Kolya, two teenage boys from Belarus together with Roco, the dog. This was the first time Cat and Andy had hosted teenagers from Belarus, and they have thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The boys came with a group of 17 teenagers who are all in remission from cancer. Their holiday will soon come to an end as they return home on Saturday after having a wonderful four weeks, enjoying many activities and outings. All the children and teenagers who come for a recuperative holiday have had a lovely time and we hope that they will all return to Belarus feeling healthy, happy and full of good memories. Some of them are in remission from cancer, some have diabetes and others have no major health problems but live in contaminated parts of Belarus. If you would like to find out more about hosting children from Belarus, please get in touch or read more on the website here.
