Support for Families!

We fund two excellent psychologists to support families whose babies have been born with problems or are very premature. Sasha’s family have appreciated the advice and encouragement they have had from Oxana. Since this photo was taken he has had his cleft lip operated on. In Belarus it is common not to operate on the palate until the child is six years old, but we will be working with surgeons in Gomel to try to ensure that cleft palate operations are carried out very much earlier. Our support for families is funded by a grant from Action of Disability.
