As arranged we made another collection or flat pack furniture from Ikea’s massive distribution depot in Peterborough. Five pallets of chest of drawers that will be delivered in early March to the Belarus. They will form part of the load to support ‘living units’ where small numbers of youngsters leaving the institutions can live with limited supervision in what is their first step towards independent living. Our picture shows John assembling one of the units for photography to send before the load departs. Similarly we have a supply of tables as shown.
Part way through the morning Stu Carmichael arrived from Lancashire with a supply of washing powder and two very special activity chairs for severly handicapped children.
